Energy Saving Trust for Ofgem

Energy Saving Trust has been appointed by Ofgem to distribute payments from energy companies who may have breached rules.

Registered charities can apply for funds to deliver energy related projects that meet the scheme priorities and benefit people in England Scotland and Wales.

Energy Saving Trust will be administering the scheme until 2022.

Funding for charities

Round 8 of the Energy Redress Scheme has launched and contains £13 million in funding to help support vulnerable energy consumers and reduce fuel poverty. The deadline for applications to Round 8 is 5pm on Thursday 30 July 2020.

Grant announcements

Since the scheme launched in 2018, we have supported over 103 charities with over £15.4 million in grant funding for projects that support vulnerable energy customers across England, Scotland and Wales.
